My reading, blogging, golfing, cooking and beading have all fallen victim to knit-mania. <br /><br />My stash has grown quite a bit - especially with trips to Village Wools and the Fiesta yarn outlet and some good online sales. Since Fiesta is having a big sale next week, I expect it will grow even further. <br /><br />My knitting skillw have been expanding. Well, the golf lessons happened, but the blogging hasn't been. Mostly because in my free time I've been distracted by knitting. <br /><br />It was a year of starting to... knitting first, then golf and blogging. The knitting is self-taught... plenty of books and websites to learn from. I'm still working mostly on rectangular things - scarves, placemats. That is giving me the opportunity to get comfortable with the various stitches and experiment with different types of yarn. I'm not bored with rectangular things yet, but looking to branch out soon.<br /><br />I'll post a few pictures soon of a couple of the projects I've completed.
